A journalist came by from STAR to do an interview-he wanted to take photos of me, I quickly set him straight upon his desires. I did give him an interview-but it was cut short by his nosy questions.



I was a bit angered by the interview and visited the Gloria Show set. We did some amazing amounts of work-filmed three episodes, now they simply need editing-in fact-we're going to aire one next week.



I'm visiting the Adventures editing room tomorrow-they need to edit the season finale



Also Pahala Shore's set need to produce some more stills for the upcoming episodes-especially since we want the season to start in September and push out ten episodes by December. Speaking of which-we need to work on the next season's storylines so we can get those sets built and start filming stills for that as well. Need to rearrange the season's-right now there are ten episodes a season (Aug-Dec/Jan-May)-two episodes a month (20 episodes a fiscal year), done as best as they can to reflect real time. Some new options:

• Monthly airing of episodes (12 episodes a fiscal year)


• Reduced Season Length from 10 months to 8 months with two episodes a month (16 episodes a fiscal year)

I like that last option-8 months of episodes with two episodes a month. Sept-Dec and again in Jan-Apr-however that gives a large gap in bewteen when fans don't have any Pahala Shore. I need to look at the production company's overall output-fans may get something from PP each month, but not always the same thing.

Finally

A complete episode of Pahala Shore has been filmed, it's going to the editing room soon. We had to film around a few cast members due to the Vanderburg-Garris wedding.

The finale of Adventures needs to be edited and shipped-I've decided to persue the Adventures mini-series for another year-so next summer (2008) audiences can expect to see another mini-series. That mini-series will be five episodes only. We'll see if we keep the same cast or storyline.

The Gloria Show is going well, have a few episodes in the pipeline that need some work.

A.Pentragnani needs a lot of work-restructing actually. The online store isn't very user friendly-we're in the process of moving to another server and more user friendly site.

Thank goodness for my assistant-even if he is a lazy bum-otherwise I don't know how I'd keep track of all my projects. Where is that badger anyway?

Fashion House

Time is moving slow in Apple Valley which usually means I can get more work out of the cast and crew in the studio.

The third episode of Adventures aired and we have a contest going on about winning a dream wedding. Speaking of weddings, A.Pentragnani is going well. I like the direction the company is taking with the "I Do" line of wedding attire. It needs to be reorganized and we need better shots for the clothing. We would need a couple of models to pose for the current collection, plus all the other gowns we have since then. It's still mostly a commission based line, but the "rejects" are still valuable. Just wrapped up the Sazo Kente collection for the bride and groom, need to start work on the Jadhira collection (she needs a complete gown & groom's attire), as well as completing the Jolie collection (she needs the groom's attire and I think some flower girl dresses would round out the collection nicely). I wonder if we should take the time and create a nice website for A.Pentragnani. The updates are occasional...at best-the only reason there are so many updates now is because of the demand for ethnic/custom wedding wear. It would be nice to update the fashion house quarterly...that should give plenty of time for designing, compiling and supplying the local demand (which by looking at the engagement annoucements won't let up soon).

Updates...Again

Need to buckle the crew down and get some work done-will try to film the remaining Pahala Shore scenes so editing can start on that-also, edit the final Adventures episodes. The Gloria Show has two episodes in the pipeline for filming and editing. To make matters worse-we are going to have limited filming time for the next season of Pahala Shore...we might have to film even more episodes in advance and shot them through the network's pipeline early if we want to maintain a twice monthly schedule...or revert to a once monthly schedule. There are questions about the future of The Gloria Show as well since it operates on a more up-to-the minute basis. We might have to look at the scheduling and make some changes for 2008 and beyond...or else cancel all the series, which would be unfortunate and the very very very last option-hey I have to eat too!

August Updates

Filming for Pahala Shore is going along well, especially considering that most of the cast is involved in the Garris-Vanderburg wedding. Adventures of a Bride is still in editing and because of that, we're going to premire Pahala Shore later once all the AoB episodes are aired.
